| Hello everybody,
After the last Distorted Reality album "Daydreams and Nightmares," and some live performances, things became quiet around the band. For those who wonder what is going on with Distorted Reality these days, we're working on new material for our next album, as well as talking to potential producers. We're very determined and inspired about our new Distorted Reality material, so be prepared to hear some new sounds! ;-
Also, Distorted Reality is participating in the "Make a Star" contest for the “Best Original Music” group 17. The contest only lasts for only 2 more days and we need everyone’s vote

On a personal note, part of the reason for our creative pause is that Martha gave birth to a little baby boy. This is incredibly exciting for everyone involved.. Congratulations to the proud parents! =)

Distorted Reality will perform live at the "Electronic Freundschaft Festival" in Mexico City at "Dada-X" on September 7, 2007.
The festival is on September 7th and 8th with The Azoic, Flying 55, Amduscia and more. More infos on the festival you can find here!

| Distorted Reality is currently a featured artist on Sony's AcidPlanet remix contest...AGAIN!
We enjoyed it so much the first time that we decided to do it again and see what kind of remixes come from one of our dance tracks.
The song "Something Wicked" can be remixed by all interested music makers and the best remix will be awarded prizes from Sony and the band.

| 2006 Tour Cancelled |

We regret to inform you that our 2006 tour is being cancelled. Due to unforeseen tragic events we have, with heavy hearts, decided to cancel this year's tour. However, we are still planning for a tour in 2007 and we're going to rock DRAGONCON!! That event we just couldn't bring ourselves to cancel.
We appreciate all the positive and excited messages we received about the tour and hope that you'll all come out to see us next year. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, suggestions or just greetings! Although sometimes not so quickly, we do read every message that comes our way.
So, for those of you that are going to DragonCon we're looking forward to seeing you there and bringing the house down!

We have the first date for the Distorted Reality North American Tour.
Distorted Reality will play at this year's Dragoncon in Atlanta, GA that runs from September 1-4. This is a 4-day festival that is visited by over 40,000 from all over the country and the world!

The exact day of our concert and other Distorted Reality events will be posted soon.

| It's true. The upcoming album "Daydreams & Nightmares" has been delayed once again until early 2006. However, it's not bad news. The band just signed with a new label (to be announced soon), are preparing for a big promotion campaign on their new CD and are booking several live shows in Europe.
Distorted Reality is now on MySpace.com. You can see photos of the band and listen to soundclips from the previous and upcoming releases. Feel free to add us as a friend and leave a comment. We'd love to meet you!

| Production of the new album |

Distorted Reality is in the process of producing the new album with Andy Meya (Forma Tadre). This time, it is not an "ad hoc" production like with Bruno Kramm, but it is a process over weeks and months leading to even greater results! As always the distances complicate the process: Martha in Miami, Chris in Berlin and Andy in Bielefeld try to keep the process efficient.
Three brilliant songs are finished so far, two of them have already been picked for compilations; the second album is scheduled for spring 2004. |
